The results of the Berliner Wine Trophy Winter Tasting 2025 were recently announced. COFCO Wines & Spirits' Greatwall earned one Grand Gold medal and six Gold medals.

Among the winners, the Greatwall Longji Vineyard Marselan Dry Red Wine, sourced from the coastal Penglai wine region, was awarded the Grand Gold medal. Influenced by the maritime climate, this region enjoys a frost-free period of over 210 days, providing a long growing cycle that contributes to the accumulation and maturation of delicate and elegant grape flavors, resulting in a mature and smooth taste profile. Additionally, six other Greatwall products won Gold medals, including the Greatwall Chateau Sungod Gewürztraminer Sweet White Wine, the Greatwall Chateau Terroir 3556 Marselan/Cabernet Sauvignon Dry Red Wine, and the Greatwall Five Stars G9 Dry Red Wine.

The Berliner Wine Trophy, organized by Germany's DWM, is held annually in Winter and Summer tastings. As one of the world's top five international wine competitions, only 30% of the wines in each award category receive recognition, with the Grand Gold medal awarded to just 2% of entries.
